NorthEast Wisconsin Amateur Photobuds

Meets: First Thursday of the Month at 1 PM at Crivitz NWTC Campus,418 South Hwy 141, Crivitz, WI 54114

Delegates: Brian Hartnell and Jim Bereza

The Northeast Wisconsin Amateur Photobuds camera club was started in 2011, out of a love for photography by a number of people who were taking non-credit photography classes at the NWTC campus in Crivitz.  Bob Buetow, BJ Lanich, Sherry Kruska, & Tom Philhower were the driving forces for starting the photography club.

The club meets the 1st Thursday of every month at the NWTC campus in Crivitz.  Business gets taken care of and then photos for the monthly challenge are presented.   We meet on the other Thursdays of the month, at the same location, for workshops or field trips.  There are 15-17 active members.

Our travels have taken us around northeast Wisconsin and the UP of Michigan.  Destinations include the Green Bay Botanical Gardens, Sensiba Wildlife Area, Cave Point & Washington Island.  Piers Gorge rapids in the UP has also been a stop.   Marinette County is known for its abundance of waterfalls, in the county parks, which we visit in all seasons of the year.

New members are always welcome to join us.
